Suncor's Project Firebag was a unique project for our company. Between remotely working on the designs from Edmonton, to site services up in Fort McMurray, both Suncor and our office kept up to date on this project the whole way through. From using state of the art technology, to flying up there for site services, this project is an example of how large scale projects are managed with ESE-LSS.

ESE-LSS has done both Fire Alarm Design and Commissioning for this project. As a hazardous environment, our engineers designed a layout that keeps the employees of Suncor safe from fire, or fire related hazards in this space. We have used VESDA in this design, as this equipment samples the air for smoke particulates and gives the earliest warning to the employees.
