History, Scenery, and Art come together on the grounds of the Government House in Edmonton. Within this
area, the Provincial Museum also sits, giving the museums visitors a taste of Alberta's History. Originally built in 1913, this building
has been through many extensive renovations, one even after its roof collapsed. Originally used as the Lieutenant Governers residence, this
building is now primarily used as a reception and meeting facility for Alberta's Government.
As with all buildings, Government House must have life safety systems incorporated. ESE-LSS had the pleasure in late 2004 to early 2005
to verify those systems for the safety of both the people inside and the House itself.
